Business Analyst with good experience in Investment Data Management
· Gain a solid understanding of the Alpha Data Services offerings, including data structures within the Alpha Data Warehouse, content types and client interaction models
· Organize and conduct interview sessions with Product Subject Matter Experts
· Conduct interviews, generate user stories, develop scenarios and workflow analyses
· Create and update fact sheets for Alpha Data Services (ADS) standard controls
· Perform research and assist with the development of new SQL based queries that will be converted to operational validations within our proprietary platform
· Assist with gap analysis for clients’ requirements by researching existing control offerings
· Collaborate with various teams to understand the usage of third-party tools
· Create action plans for development of new data quality controls
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Information Technology or related field of study
· Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL
· Prior record of driving successful outcomes on data warehousing and data management projects as a business analyst or data analyst
· Inclination and courage to proactively seek information and understand the operational and data aspects of the business
· Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization – able to independently troubleshoot and gather supporting evidence
· Strong attention to detail and organization
· Accountable and able to effectively prioritize when managing multiple requirements
· Team oriented and capable of working in a global setting
· Prior experience developing within a BI reporting tool (e.g. Looker, Information Builders/IBI, Spotfire, Tableau) a plus
· Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
